Major Record Distribution Bio

In September 2021, Major Record Distribution was founded by Phyllis Salter-Gann, Bruce W. Jackson, Andy Courcier and Drake King. 

The label was shelved in late 2022 after not being able to obtain a major distribution deal. The owners felt it would do no good to release music through one of the regular channels. Major distribution would help an artist. 

In May 2023, the label obtained The Orchard of Sony, one of the largest major distributors in the music industry. We kicked into full motion, moving forward with the label. Within announcing we had The Orchard of Sony for distribution, we received over 150 submissions. We are being very selective about the artists we pick. They must be driven to have a career in the music industry and willing to do the work. As of September 2023, we have signed 2 artists, Ameri Shaye and Richie Love.  

Major Record Distribution Red Carpet Awards Nomination

Drake King left the company for family reasons. The label is owned by Bruce W. Jackson, Phyllis Salter-Gann and Andy Courier. 

Red Carpet Awards in Europe is our first nomination for the label.
